"As always, the Kahadin Inn was perfect for our needs. It was just a quick stop over for two nights while we visited family on the way further north.
Late check-in was a breeze with our keys were in an envelope, waiting on the counter, the AC kept the room at a nice temperature, and the breakfast was perfect for our needs. The make your own pancake machine was a nice twist from the typical waffle maker at hotels. The machine itself did look like it was from Doctor Who, but it works great!

"Never saw anyone. Wasn't told how to turn on tv. USE Light switch.Never got password for internet. Not enough facecloths. Air conditioner so loud couldn't hear tv. Couldn't turn down."

"Impressively maintained old farm house and barns. Given the limitations of the layout, the owners have done a remarkable job of attending to the comfort of their guests. The room was adequate and the bed was very comfortable Sharing a bathroom/shower with other guests was initially somewhat uncomfortable, but we all quickly adopted a routine that met everyone's needs. "Well this was a surprise. We arrived later in the evening and the cabins were kind enough to call and let us know how to access the cabins.
When we got there it was very dire, however. it is possible most of the tenants are AT hikers and don't care about accommodations, but that isn't us. It was the first time i 5 years my husband wanted to leave right away and find another place to leave. The bath sink was held up by a radiator due to someone having pulled it off the wall. Spiders and cobwebs...
