"Booked in advance so good value. Plenty of free parking; registration plate is required with check-in. The man on reception was efficient and friendly. Hallway to room was clean and smelt fresh. Room had desk, two chairs, storage/hanging space, TV, was clean, neat and tidy with comfortable beds. A kettle with coffee tea facilities were provided. "We loved our stay! My spouse and I were initially unsure about the shared bathroom, but it turned out to be a non-issue. The grounds were delightful, and while the room was small, the design made it feel just right—cozy and well thought-out. "I was given a room on the ground floor which was set out for a disabled person as were most of the other GF rooms. I’m sorry but this was not suitable it felt like staying in an old folks home and I had booked 3 nights. When I asked for a room change I was told the hotel was fully booked, I was not happy with this as I had paid approximately £90.00 a night to stay in a hospital room. I’m not very happy and won’t return to this hotel "

"After a long day walking arriving here was a pleasure. The staff were welcoming and although the kitchen was about to close they held off closing and served me.The room was just what was needed. Clean, and quite, and a comfortable bed. In the morning there was a very generous continental breakfast that kept me going for quite a long stretch of that day's walking without need to refuel! I would most certainly recommend this place and would definitely stay again if I was passing through."

"Excellent accommodation in a quiet location. The Lodge is situated in lovely private grounds with electronic gates in Hemingford Grey. We stayed in the Oak room and loved the size of the room and the lovely bathroom. The room was very stylish from the oak flooring to the furniture and the bathroom.
