I like this place. I’m staying there every week. It’s warm and comfortable and there are tea making facilities on a night. Could do with a restaurant though please!

Very good night

Signs easy to follow. Parking on site, quiet at night. Private bathrooms, towel, clean everywhere. Free self service kitchen, all kind of food for breakfast. Hot drinks and i actually could take a good night during my business trip!

The lady at reception was friendly. The property was clean if somewhat rundown. But considerably cheaper than similar properties in the centre of Cambridge. The basic breakfast was adequate for the money.

Basic but very friendly and helpful, everything you need and more. Free serve yourself breakfast from wide, healthy range provided, with kettles toasters, fridge and microwave available for use. Teas/coffee can be made any time. Iron and hair dryer available to borrow. Ample free parking. Very well located for Papworth and Addenbrookes. Excellent eateries nearby. Excellent value.

Shelford Lodge

Booked in online and was met by a lovely lady. We could have as much Tea and Coffee as we wanted available in the breakfast room. Room was warm clean and tidy. We just needed a bed for the night and you pay for what you get. Breakfast was toast, cereal and cold Buffet.

I stay here most weeks. I like it. It’s good value for money and relatively close to work. It’s clean and I can always make a brew when I finish work. Internet is not fast but at least it always works!

Tv didn’t want work. Guests have their own toilet and shower room but it’s across the corridor from the bedroom. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is Spartan. No staff visible

Good place with a helpful manager. You get what you expect and read in the reviews. The building and the door are not accessible for people with mobility issues. They probably have a lift but it doesn't work. Breakfasts were pretty sufficient. Make sure you read a few reviews to prepare yourself for your stay, for example, bringing your toiletries along. They could clean their electric kettles for better hygiene. Rest was fine. I took the private bathroom outside the room option which worked fine for me. I stayed there for a week. Would go there again.
