"Unfortunately our stay had to be cut short by 2 days as my back could not tolerate the only bed in the property which is lumpy and hard. Think of a bag of potatoes and you wouldn’t be far off. I’ll end on a positive, the rear garden is beautiful!"

"Really lovey place to stay if you just want peace and quiet, very basic and very romantic and secluded. Just hear in mind your only cooking appliances are a cooking hob. So any meals you plan on cooking must be cookable in a saucepan or frying pan. That being said the rose and crown in Michaelchurch."

"We had a great stay here for a few nights with the family over Easter. The barn is lovely and well equipped, the kitchen had everything we needed including a big multi-oven cooker which made cooking for 6 people with varied dietary requirements very straightforward. The garden is lovely and we were lucky enough to catch some of the trees in full blossom. "This property has so much potential and I really hope the owners are able to make it everything it could be. Unfortunately at the moment there's a lot of room for improvement and the price didn't reflect that. The cleanliness level was not brilliant and the space was extremely cold. You are provided with a small gas heater, however it simply isn't capable of heating the space on a cold night. The bedding is summer weight, and there is no insulation, so the cold really bites.
