"The building was an old school they bought and turned into a hotel. Nicely Done! The lounge/bar is the old auditorium. Big room with plenty of seating and a beautiful old chess board and chairs combo. There is a restuarant serving dinner and drinks. The food was quite good! Waitresses Daria & Daniella were very kind and friendly. Morning breakfast buffet was also good. Nice selection. Met the owners Asgeir & his wife after dinner one evening, very pleasant couple, good conversations. The rooms...

"We booked 2 rooms by mistake, that's on me. I did not check both of them, but the one we did use was very underwhelming. The house itself is ok, if a bit sterile. But it hadn't been cleaned properly as the floor was dirty, the shower has soap residues and there was a good amount of dust everywhere. Everything felt cheap, like they bough all of it used and didn't even try to make it look good. It really wasn't a big deal, but with other options available I do not recommend this rental."

"Questo è senza dubbio il posto migliore in cui sia stata in Islanda.
La stanza, quasi interamente vetrata, soffitto compreso, regala una vista magica sul fiordo.
È curata nei minimi dettagli e dotata di tutto il necessario. La cucina è completamente accessoriata, con bollitore per il tè e macchina Nespresso. Pulizia impeccabile.
Consiglio vivamente di trascorrere almeno una notte in questo lodge, perché è davvero unico nel suo genere."

"Nearly impossible to communicate with owners. The place looks like it's been abandoned on the outside. Inside is clean but very dated. Not a good experience. "

"The cottage is small, but its clean. If the kitchen has stove would be great. The hot water smell sulphur, but we get it its Iceland. We got northern light here, super excited, overall we happy with our stay."
