The inn is located in a quiet area on the Wilson lake. It would be lovely in the summer to take advantage of the lake. In the winter it is still beautiful to walk out on the lake. There were fishing huts in the distance and people were riding snowmobiles on the lake. The inn is close to downtown Wilton. Recommend reservations for dining in downdown restaurants."

"The room was clean and beautiful, overlooking the white mountains. I guess I didn't read the fine print because we were expecting some dining option. Sylvesters for dinner and the Market for breakfast were not far away. The coffee/beverage bar in the lounge is extraordinary. Would've appreciated some cleaning attention to the windows and screens so we could've taken full advantage of the view. I know that upkeep of the place must be all-comsuming. The host was quite welcoming and attentive. We would definitely go back. The building and furnishings are fascinating. "
