Compare and book 3 Star hotels in Cabeceras, Guanacaste

Lovely property. In the hill and right next to town, great breakfast and warm and friendly staff..

The room has more than a local 4 stars hotel level quality. Little details show the owner looks after the room very well.

Perfect stay. the hotel was exceptionally clean and the room with the balcony, where I saw squirrels and all sorts of birds amazing. The room even had netflix. I could literally live in there, thanks for a perfect stay

We spend 2 nights at Chira Glamping. The pod is clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the jacuzzi listening to the birds. Perfect! We dined at their restaurant on our first night which was spectacular. Breakfasts were relaxed. We also used the concierge service to book a night walking tour and a cloud forest tour. We enjoyed these experiences greatly.

Really helpful friendly staff, picking own salad was good fun. Very comfortable beds and high quality bathrooms. Wildlife in gardens. Excellent set up, stayed with 3 kids aged 8 to 14 who loved it. 15 minute walk to centre of Monteverde for restaurants although a decent Soda and pizzeria 5 minutes walk away.

Whilst our actual room was rather basic, the overall setting of the lodge was stunning. Amazing scenery and access to view the wildlife.

the hotel is in a beautiful setting with views of the lake. The staff were very helpful. The accomodation is very comfortable and spacious. A very good breakfast cooked to order. I would suggest you need a car to benefit all that the area has to offer. Overall an excellent stay.

Amazing staff and stay

The hotel was fantastic. Spotlessly clean. The free wildlife tour was excellent and we were lucky to see Armadillos. The pool and jacuzzi were lovely too. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel has the most amazing views and the staff go above and beyond to help you and are so friendly. Well located for trips, restaurants etc. We originally booked last minute as decided to travel a day earlier and ended up cancelling our pre-booked accommodation and extending our stay despite already paying for the other hotel... Lovely grounds and made to order breakfast. Hotel has so much character and a great little bar. Best service so far throughout our trip. Check in was also really...

Very friendly helpful hotel and staff. Well located got the National Park

I had no issues during my stay. Check-in was simple, and I was provided with a map and lots of helpful tips. The room was pleasant, with a fantastic view through the expansive windows. There was no aircon in my room, which I feared would be a problem, but I didn’t get hot at all. A ceiling fan would still be a useful addition though. The wind outside could be slightly noisy at times, but that would probably apply to lots of hotels in the area. The ladies serving breakfast in the morning...

Kids voted this the best place we stayed! They enjoyed having their own private mezzanine complete with bean bags and games. We enjoyed the tranquility of the surroundings. Basic supplies like coffee and cooking oil provided do you can easily self cater.

We loved our stay at Macadamia! The unit is self-contained and well-equipped with everything that you might need - even salt and oil if you want to cook and laundry detergent for the washing. There is a fantastic soda just 5 mins walk away. The air conditioning was fantastic in one room and not so good in the other, but it gets cool at night and you can open the windows. We even saw an armadillo next to the driveway! Guillermo is super helpful, and this is a wonderful place to stay.

This family run hotel business is in rural part of Costa Rica. We were very delighted to stay at this hotel as we prefer quite surrounding and away from the busy town area. We have been treated very well above the call of host hostility expected. The young Lady Manager Milena was very helpful and we were delighted to see speak to her and she accommodated our needs very well with professionalism and enthusiasm to please us. We would highly recommend this hotel to any one who love to stay in quiet...

The hosts were fabulous. Met us when we arrived and explained a few things. Some will was undertaken whilst we were staying there which made the kitchen much more usable and the bathroom for storage. Not quite big enough for a family of 5. Sleeping was well catered for but not enough room to sit inside for 5 people on the dining table or in the evening in the living room. However a stunning table outside which is covered so this can be used. We saw a sloth in the back garden and numerous birds...

Great place, great stuff and service. We had some problem at the original apartment that we ordered and the stuff did everything they could and even upgraded us to an up level one.
