Check-in was smooth and efficient, although it was self-service. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable. "The hotel is older but most of it has been renovated. We just stayed one night before we went to Tirano on the train. The room was clean and the hotel was close to the train station. We dealt with a young woman on the desk in the morning and she was polite and helpful. I also thought I had left something in the room and when I phoned they were very willing to go check for it. They promptly phoned back and let me know it wasn’t there. Thankfully I found I had packed it in a different place"

"For check-in, Instructions were easy to follow and room very comfortable with great views overlooking into Switzerland. Nice coffee selection and comfortable community room where pastries are served for breakfast. Only moan is the church bell ringing every hour. Plenty of parking and within distance of plenty of hiking trails. Very friendly locals. Great place to stay if touring by bicycle and a bonus climb before arriving back!"
