"The welcome was great. The Hotel is well appointed and generally well maintained. The bar and restaurant served nice food and drink, the prices are in the high side, but in keeping with everywhere else. It is well frequented by the locals, but the atmosphere was mostly friendly. The major downside was the Hotel is right next to a busy railway line. Our room was overlooking the track and it was very noisy when a train went past, which it did several times in the night. "

"Staff were very helpful. Lovely hotel and great location. Parking on site was really useful although it gets busy on a Sunday as everyone’s there for a Sunday roast which was great! "
