"A wonderful 3 night stay in the family suite with two double beds. Service from all the hotel staff was wonderful from the moment we arrived, and they went above and beyond from giving us a takeaway breakfast on our last day when we left early, as well as helping with our hired tuktuk! Hotel is further out of Galle Fort (about a 10min tuktuk drive/25 min walk), but setting of buildings onsite is lovely, centred around the main pool and communal outside area. "The Bartizan's rooms were spacious and clean. The bathroom was gorgeous. The breakfast was generous, and we were given a packed breakfast on the day we left early. The staff were very attentive. It is located on the coast and walkable to loads of shops and restaurants. It was our favourite hotel in the two weeks we spent in Sri Lanka. "

"El hotel está situado en la ciudad antigua que es más tranquila y tiene cerca todos los servicios para un turista. La habitación muy bien y especialmente limpia. Las chicas que lo regentan son muy amables y profesionales. En el hotel tienen una nevera al servicio de los huéspedes y una zona para tender la ropa. Ademàs, cada habitación tiene una mesa y sillas a la puerta de la habitación donde sentarte a organizar tu jornada tranquilamente."

"Stayed here many time. Staff amazing and place really beautiful. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Unawatuna. Good Wi-Fi in communal areas (doesn’t quite reach all rooms). The eco friendly question hotels.com asks is difficult to answer. They give lots of bottled water, which I guess isn’t very eco-friendly - but that is what tourists want. I guess maybe if they had a large central water dispenser people could refill bottles for that would reduce plastic use. I think some tourists might complain...

"We were really looking forward to staying at Green Villa but upon arrival they said there was a problem with the room and they were completely booked so had to book us in a hotel next door. The place next door was dirty and only half as nice. I went back when I saw they had availability the next 3 nights and they were able to put us in a ground floor room (I paid for a balcony) but it was still nice. "Nice view thru window. Close to the beach, good for sunset view. Anyone can go without a charge. Clean room and supplied cookers as home stay. Dining market at beach 2km away. Bike rental friendly, five minutes walking to the rental and take me back to hotel after returning. Half hour driving to dock for wacthing whales"

"Das kleine sehr nette Hotel hat eine wirklich super Lage direkt am Meer und zusätzlich noch einen Pool direkt am Meer. Das Personal ist wirklich sehr freundlich und das Essen ist sehr gut. Zu Fuß erreicht man alles was man braucht, Lokale und Geschäfte. Wir können das Neevana unbedingt empfehlen."

"Excellent location (right inside Galle Fort) and value for money. The owners were really welcoming, nice and helpful. B&B located in a smaller street of the Fort, thus providing calm. Room with a large bed, A/C, mosquito net and small balcony. We definitely recommend it! We got our breakfast in another hostel managed by the owners."

"Beautiful hotel located in a green garden with palms and leafy trees. Very quiet place, rooms are far from the road. The main noisemakers are chipmunks jumping on the roofs and munching on your fruits if you accidentally left it outside. Once I had a dinner there and I enjoyed the food. The hotel staff is extremely polite and helpful. I didn’t expect my calls will be answered at 4am when I arrived. However the hotel manager Jude was waiting for me and escorted me to my room.
