We would normally have stayed at the Premier Inn in Dumfries every time we come over from NI to visit family but will definitely be staying in the Holiday Inn in Dumfries from now on. "

Centrally located and quiet; but that was sheer luck, because the two other sparse rooms on either side of me happened to have quiet people in them thank goodness! ...not a lot to say; nice couple owns it...my bathroom was across the hall and I had to use a key each time to use it...VERY bare bones...heat was good...no real place to settle into the room, so stayed out most of the evening...
