"It was unbearably hot in the room. Screen on sliding door was broken so we couldn't leave the door open. Only one of three windows had a screen. Thermostat was set to off but one of the electric heaters was blasting heat. It was a very uncomfortably hot night with only one window open. Air conditioner was not installed. "What a beautiful place to stay! Wish we could have stayed longer. The staff deserved more stars than 5; the dinner was beyond expectation, and the room was delightful. The beach front is inviting, with an expansive deck, fire pits and kayaks. We really enjoyed cocktails on the patio before dinner. Thanks for making our weekend so great."

"We booked our stay in advance and it fell on the weekend of a huge snow storm 3 feet. Power went out as well. But we had heat thankfully, and owners had a generator. They kept the driveways clear of snow. The view was picturesque. It was peaceful fun. "
