"The restaurant in the hotel is good, so you don't need to go out for breakfast, lunch or dinner if you don't want. Also, there are some dinning options around the hotel. The room was clean but it could be cleaner. But it is still above the average. It is close to the American consulate and the area is safe considering Porto Alegre is a big city."

"Plaza são Rafael used to be a high standard hotel in Porto Alegre. It is sad and disappointing to see that the rooms are very outdated. AC doesn't work well, WiFi is very spotty, tv is not smart, it is very small and has terrible reception of the few channels available. It seems the cleaning standards are lacking I was in a non smoking room but there was a cigarette butt sitting on the window during my whole stay. Elevators are noisy and old and the breakfast is good but not near impressive as...
