"The staff were great, no fault to them at all… but the hotel and area surrounding were extremely drab. There is absolutely no vibe or energy at this hotel, the room has no decor, the shower was falling apart. Breakfast was gross. The neighborhood is pretty much the opposite of what you think Crete would be like… pretty much everything about the place was tired and sad. We regrettably booked 19 nights and spent about 14 of them at other hotels in way better areas. "

"If there is a word that best describes this property its the filoxenia from the staff. Clean hotel, recently renovated pool and bedrooms. Lovely relaxing beach close by. Also easy access to the town and other nearby beaches if one would like to go as an option. Nice restaurants on the main road followed by a local supermarket, bakeries, petrol station.

"Rooms are like Villas, bathroom, living room kitchen/dining area, then bedroom and large patio, all fantastic.
Location was actually on the beach, could not be closer
Shopping was a 2 mins walk to the main street with an abundance of restaurants.
Free buffet Breakfast was good, and had poolside snacks and dinner here also because the food was so good.
Our shower drain did not drain properly, that was my only complaint.
All the staff seemed friendly but there was 1 guy in particular at the...

"Erst war der Wind so stark, dass wir starken Lärm im Zimmer hatten. Dies wurde am nächsten Tag behoben. Dazu hatten wir leider bei starkem Regen und Wind Wasser in unserem Zimmer, welches unter der Eingangstüre eingetreten ist.
Die Rezeptionistinnen, vorallem Eleni, waren sehr hilfsbereit."

"Mycket bra boende och enkelt att parkera bilen. Nytt och fräscht. Fin toalett och dusch men varför finns det inte bra upphägningsanordningar (krokar) för alla handdukar? Endast TVÅ krokar på väggen i duschen! Obegripligt. "

"The staff at Aphea Village were excellent. Nothing was to much for them to do for us. From reception to bar staff - they were amazing. I would definitely recommend as the view from the pool and the rooms were breath taking. The food from Bizous bar and variety of drinks available were amazing. We really enjoyed our stay with you. Thanks 😃"
