"The booking details shown in the Hotels.com app and in the confirmation email were not so clear. They did not mention or remind me that I had to pay at the hotel. I thought I had already paid online by debit card. At the counter, I had to check my bank account again to make sure there was no duplicate payment before I paid. The room, towels, and bedding were average; just a few hairs and specks were found. Breakfast was as good as expected."

The bar/dining area was very cosy with local beers (Pheasantry) on draught. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay and the breakfast was superb.
