"Booked it same day, the room was on the 4th floor and as it was during the heatwave, was a bit warm, they did provide us with couple of fans that helped. It was a lovely room with a sofa, TV and vanity table. A nice view of trees and sunset. It was clean everywhere. "

"Hotels.com gave wrong information about a room, saying that it slept 3 but was only suitable for two. The receptionist at the hotel was very understanding and was able to move us to a larger room more suitable for us at a slightly extra cost - we were very grateful for this. The rooms were nice and comfortable and breakfast was lovely. The member of staff in the breakfast room as very good with our 6 year old son, chatting to him and asking about his holiday, it made his morning. "

"We found out quite late we have no hot water. We called the staff who said they'll see what can be done and call us right back. They never called. I the morning, when we asked again for the water to be repaired, they tried a few things and said they should be OK in about 10 minutes. We waited 30. Nothing happened, so we gave up. Also, the closet door was missing a screw and the door came apart. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Trout Cafe. Our room was really clean and comfortable, there was an electric fan which was appreciated as it was very warm weather. The shower was easy to use and very good. There were biscuits with the tea and coffee which was nice. We had breakfast and the food was very good and included in the price of the room. "The service was amazing, as was the amazing food and generous portions. The ambience was great too, including the music! The room was clean and cozy, and the velux windows were a lifesaver at night. Though the area can be a little noisy at night. Great location if you're planning to do the Four Waterfalls walk."
