"I really enjoyed my stay and having previous been on the east bank the west was a very nice change and much calmer. The view is fantastic, and the beds and pillows very comfortable. As with everywhere in Egypt there is some noise, but I slept better here than anywhere else I stayed. Great location for visiting sites. Islam helped arranged trips and all the other staff were also very friendly and helpful. Dinner at the restaurant was very tasty and huge portions. "

"Our "room" was a roomy two bedroom apartment, much better than a standard hotel room. The hotel is family owned and managed, somebody is always available if you need. There is a restaurant/breakfast area on the last floor with a spectacular view of the Nile. Tours can be booked through them with competitive prices."

"The shower was in the middle of the bathroom which was interesting and would get the entire floor wet but the water was hot so it worked and the AC kept the room super cool. The only reason the hotel got a 4 star review was because we were on the 4th floor right next to the kitchen so it was loud basically all day but other than that, the property was great and location was amazing. The staff are welcoming and very helpful, offering sunset Felucca rides, and transportation if needed. The meals here are amazing. The best breakfast I have had anywhere in my travels by far. I would highly recommended staying here."

It was located in a good area and had nice amenities like a pool, bar, and good menu of items at their rooftop restaurant (the kofta was fantastic).
