"Overall a good place to stay, within walking distance of the central train station and all the major attractions.
The hotel is small but adequate, as are the rooms.

"Pros are it's a good price for the area, and a nice area, with grest reception staff.
The cleaning was just really bad. The inside of the fridge was gross and needed cleaning badly, the mug was never cleaned the whole time I was there, the toothbrush holder was really dirty, and they have a problem with mosquitoes in the room even with the windows closed. They just need to up their game with the cleaning and then this would be perfect for the price."

"This was our third time in Florence previously staying at other good hotels. Hotel Pendini was by far the nicest place we have stayed in. In its 150th year it exudes a charm and gentility of its own. Centrally placed , beautifully decorated, ample sized rooms and wonderful helpful, friendly staff. The air conditioning was effective and quiet. The breakfast was in a beautiful room with wonderful city views.
I would thoroughly recommend for anyone wishing to spend a few days in Florence and...

"The staff was very kind and helpful! We had to fly from Florence to Zurich and did not want to take our big luggage, so they held our luggage for us. Then they had it in our room for us upon our return to Florence. They even remembered each of our names when we returned several days later, and we really felt like guests instead of just another number. I can not thank them enough for their hospitality!"
