Decent stay

Okay stay for the price paid. Positives were the free self parking and decent location, close to the highway to avoid Florence’s chaotic traffic. Breakfast buffet was okay for the hotel category. The staff was friendly and responsive to our requests. Overall a good value for Florence.

Very convenient to get a bus to Florence historic city. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel. Entrance outside the hotel does not look nice. The Front desk area is okay. This is an old hotel in need of renovation. Breakfast is good. Not special. This hotel did not meet my expectations.

The room had a good size, the main plaza is about 30 minutes by bus which the bus stop is right outside the hotel. The breakfast was very good, it had a coffee machine to make your own coffee and it had a pool which I didn’t have time to use…

This hotel was off the beaten path. I felt like we were on the “wrong” side of the river. An Uber to anything in the city center was a long ride (30 minutes) and expensive. The hotel itself was clean and staff were friendly. The pool was nice and so was the restaurant.

We booked with expedia and booked for the pool, there was no indication the pool was closed for the winter season. We specifically booked it to relax by the pool after many days on the road, and it was super hot that day. We then arrived to our room and the air conditioning had been shut of for the off season as well, the windows opened but we were then eaten alive each night by the mosquitos. The breakfast was good. There is no access to ice or an ice machine in the hotel, they sent us to a bar down the road to get some. no food at all or snack machines.The bar and restaurant were also closed for the season.

really far away from center, only bus can go there, and the bus is never on time, waiting time for a bus is about 30 mins, takes another 30 mins to go into town. The room is noisy, you can hear all the neighbors and corridor. Breakfast was ok, but not too many to choose. nice thing is they have their own parking, maybe it is easier for people who drives
