"Quite far to get to from Stonetown but a stunning location. It’s boutique hotel so not the facilities of a mega resort but the local friendly staff arranged a couple of excellent things for me and I really enjoyed the intimate atmosphere. Great food too with sea views. I also enjoyed a massaged in a small hut by the sea so could hear the surf. "

"We had an amazing stay at Sunshine Marine Lodge. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. The reception team helped with arranging tours and activities - we especially loved the tour of Stone Town! The hotel also offers transfer services from the airport, which was really convenient. The resort itself is beautiful and peaceful. The food was also great, especially the fresh fruit at breakfast and the daily specials for lunch and dinner. Cannot recommend this stay enough!"

"The stay was great because of Moana's wonderful service. Everything else was average. During rainy days they do not pay attention to detail and i slipped and fell on the stairs at breakfast which i did not like. "

"DO NOT STAY HERE! Locals warned that the owner is an alcoholic who runs personal parties nonstop and is abrasive to the point they have had to change the name numerous times. They refused a refund and lied numerous times during emails with Expedia and I. Clients have also had personal items stolen."
