"Staff was wonderful property was beautiful. The location was far from anything but very cool. The only issue was getting to a restaurant at night. Other than that it’s a great place to stay."

"The owner couple is amazing. So sweet and welcoming they make you feel very comfortable. The Spa area is amazing!"

"An exceptional place—we decided to stay an additional day at Moinho do Maneio, canceling a night in the Douro Valley, because we loved the place and its surroundings so much. Anabela and her husband have created such a special retreat, truly a welcome respite after traveling through the busy cities of Madrid and Seville. The fireplace, the sauna, extra cozy cabin / bed, incredible breakfast with lots of homemade goodies, wine / beer to purchase, etc. all made the stay unique. This seemingly...

"Paradise! Wow! We were not expecting what a wonderful place this is! It should be labeled a 'resort' more than a hotel. I would have expected to pay three times more for a place like this. It was the most quiet hotel I have ever stayed and the view was incredible. I have nothing bad to stay about this super clean, well kept, hidden gem. Thank you!"

"IWe like all in this place. The owners are very kind. They have done us felt like our house"

"The inn was charming and beautifully appointed. The host was excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable, super helpful. "

"This lodging is especially wonderful. We have stayed at many places- United States, Africa, South America, and Europe, and this place stands out as ultra friendly, hospitable, with an amazing renovation. The owners go avice and beyond to ensure your stay is special. The pool, surroundings, and lodging are absolutely beautiful, the area is soooooo peaceful and quiet- a blissful stay and good night’s sleep. They served a lovely breakfast and the owner’s homemade cake and other pastries were...
