"Due to hot weather I asked if we could move to a lower floor room for our 2nd night ( they had provide 1 fan that was already in the room and 2nd one which I asked for but room was like an oven ..)
The staff were fantastic and found a room within a few minutes on a lower floor and cooler .. Thank you to the staff"

"I felt like I’d walked onto the set of ‘Cross Roads’. A very tired old hotel which looks like it hasn’t been upgraded since the 80’s. On arrival we were immediately offered the option to spend an extra £25 to upgrade to have A/C in the room but despite it being hot, I’d already spent well over £100 for the night for a very budget experience so I declined. "Hotel is easy to find and has plenty of parking. Rooms were fine, with enough space and necessary facilities.
We needed three rooms, and staff had arranged that they were three adjacent rooms, which was good.
Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very accommodating - we needed some breakfasts to take away for some of our party who were out running during breakfast service.
Evening meal and service in bar were also good, even though it was a busy evening.

"We didn’t stay! On arrival we were told our room was hot but they could give us ice water. The room was stupidly hot and if we had stayed we would not have slept. I know we are having a hot summer but they could have supplied decent fans, and let people know before travelling for three hours how hot the top floor rooms were. No management on site, several other people complained and I felt sorry for the two young ladies on reception."

"The breakfast was excellent, there was a little confusion with finding parking outside of Wellington Lodge, parking was limited, it was hampered my another hotel resident and thier bad parking. My room in Wellington was comfortable no problems. Staff i met were welcoming and professional."
