The front desk clerk was nice enough to get us an ice bucket every day though. The breakfast was good. The location to the train station was excellent. Cool theme and we happened to be in town during Freddy Days for his 80th birthday."

"Lobby and main entry quite grand and beautiful. There was no A/C. Floor fan was available in our room, which was helpful, but with outdoor temperatures running around 28-30 F it was warm in our room. Can't really open windows at night because then one hears traffic noise etc. Would have been nice to have a mini coffee machine in the room. Mini fridge was a nice asset. Bed was comfortable. Only one pillow per person - front desk gave us a second on request. Great location!"

"Its a very traditional, older chalet and amenities are in line with older style places. The staff were faultless, helpful, courteous and tolerant of our coming and going. Its a hike to get there but the free railway, if you have the time, saves on cab fares. Food is fresh and its very popular for dinner with everyone in town and the views are terrific.. Thanks especially to Tebo for looking after us but they were all great. "
