Did not plan on using the dishwasher or washing machine/ tumble dryer, however they came in very handy when we decided to use the gym while the kids went to kids club and needed to wash our smelly workout gear! "This is a very nice, comfortable, well-managed hotel right in the center of Cahir. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's in easy walking distance of the castle, numerous coffee shops, and restaurants. The hotel restaurant is also quite good, and there is a substantial breakfast available. Our "first floor" room was a significant walk from the reception, up and down several stairs, even after we were on the first floor, but that is just the way the hotel is put together. There is also a car park behind the hotel."
