Can’t wait to go back.

Great stay in hotel apt with family. Newly renovated, shower in main bathroom was amazing. Very well equipped kitchen. Did not plan on using the dishwasher or washing machine/ tumble dryer, however they came in very handy when we decided to use the gym while the kids went to kids club and needed to wash our smelly workout gear! Lovely food in the restaurant. All staff very efficient and friendly that we came across, from front desk to maintenance man, to cleaning ladies. Delighted we have found this spot as we’ll definitely be back.

The pool for this facility is part of a separate health club. You have to call in advance to reserve a time directly with the health club. And it is not open 7am-10 pm. When we arrived at 6, we went to the health club and were told the last hotel guest booking was at 5 (check in isn't until 4). First one for the morning would have been 10. Kids were disappointed but we thought we could make it up to them by letting them play some arcade games in the game room. But the games all only take coins, and there wasn't a change machine available and neither the bar/restaurant or hotel staff could provide change. Then we thought we would let the kids watch a movie in the room, but the very old tv had one channel available, and when we hooked up our firestick with HDMI there was no sound. There was a washing machine in the unit, but it didn't dry. Overall, was a disappointing experience.

Car broke down and didn’t make it there.Talked to Expedia agent who cancelled our reservation and said they would follow up on getting our money back but have not heard from Expedia.Very disappointed as I have used Expedia a lot.

Fabulous location.

We loved this place. We were close enough to walk into Youghal . We had a two bed room apartment with a Seaview. It is not a fancy place but affords all necessities. Pool is nice, but not really clean. Breakfast buffet was very good. This is not a five star but it is a solid 4.

Not top notch but still very comfortable.

We loved the location. The hotel is a little rundown and does not really supply basic necessities for the kitchen. We travelled from Canada so we did not bring any equipment. We found the staff very helpful and kind. It would be helpful if you tried a little harder in the kitchen side of things. Beds are comfortable.

My wife arrived at check in and inspite of the page here and my ringing in advance to confirm, they did not accept my credit card, the staff we unhelpful and aloof, even whenni pointed out the error on expedia where i made the booking and the fact that i had rang to check. If this is their attitude to customer service i strongly urge other travellers to look else where. We paid a premium for another hotel booking with no notice, as the initial experience was so bad. At least they did not take the cancellation fee, but they kept my deposit.

Overall enjoyable stay

We enjoyed our stay at the Quality Hotel. Had an apartment which was spotlessly clean. All the staff were very friendly and an early check in was accomodated. There was plenty of activities for the kids with supervised disco and movies. Was a particularly busy weekend and the staff in the bar were over stretched a little it seemed, but maintained the friendly service.

Beautiful Location

The hotel is located at a very nice beach, with wonderful views. At check in, we were upgraded to a newly renovated, large apartment. The space was very nice and spacious with 2 bedrooms. The only issue we had was the walls are very thin and you could hear every word your neighbors across the hall were saying. Other than that, our stay was very nice. Breakfast was also a very good buffet. Thank you.
