When I arrived at the hotel late in the evening, the hotel staff informed me that I needed to pay for the room because, according to them, Expedia had not sent the payment. I have used Expedia many times to make hotel reservations and have never experienced this issue before. The staff repeatedly insisted that the payment had not been received, which created an uncomfortable and stressful situation after a long day of travel. To be clear, my complaint is not about Expedia. My concern is with the way the hotel handled the situation and communicated with me. I believe the matter should have been addressed more professionally and without placing the burden on the guest. Thank you for your attention to this matter."
