"We took our daughter to the zoo. This hotel was perfect for a weekend getaway from Chicago. The hotel is 5 minutes away from the zoo and 10 minutes from the mall a lot of nice restaurants to eat around. The pool was perfect"

"This is an Historic Gem in Milwaukee. It is steps from Lake Michigan and while in an older neighborhood, close to many of the sites that Milwaukee has to offer.
The rooms are ideal for extended stays. Even the standard rooms have equipped kitchenettes with stove, refrigerator, sink and microwave. Larger rooms and suites have full kitchens.The rooms are large and have a lot of closet space.

"Overall the staff was great and the room was nice and clean. The breakfast was where things went horribly wrong. It was the worst that I have ever seen. No bacon, no waffles or pancakes, no biscuits and gravy. The only hot food was turkey sausage, scrambled eggs, and a microwaved breakfast sandwich. I should have walked across the parking lot to the IHOP."

"Hotel was immaculate. Staff friendly and attentive. Parking convenient. Cookies and fruit infused water in the lobby was a nice treat. Breakfast was excellent with refills up to the end of service. Gatorade on the way out the door! We were very impressed and will stay again if in the area. "
