"The staff was amazingly friendly; the ambiance warm, curious and inviting; the room clean and spacious; the bed super comfy; the location in town ideal. I do not eat at McMenamins due to my dietary needs & quality preferences, so I cannot comment on food or bevs. Also, we didn't swim in the pool, though I've always wanted to. Loved our visit and can't wait to return."

"We were upgraded from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom "suite" - and I put suite in quotes because it was literally a condo. Full kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a deck overlooking the golf course (with a grill), and washer and dryer in the "room". All for what I'd expect to pay for a basic room at a regular "suite" hotel. I'm quite sure that even the 1 bedroom we'd originally booked would have vastly exceeded our expectations.
