"We were impressed by the spaciousness in the small room and everything was very clean. The bunk beds were fun and the TVs in each bunk were a nice touch. The mattresses could have been more comfortable, but this is a small concern. Overall we had a great stay. "

"Hotel avenue is a 5 minute walk from the Centraal Station. It was very clean and had a comfortable bed. The shower was very small but the bathroom was very modern and clean. This is not a fault of the hotel, but if you use hair conditioner , bring your own. The hotel body/hair soap that is provided is not the best. The room we had was pretty quiet. There is an elevator if you need help with luggage. "

"I had a lovely stay. My room was quiet, on the inside of the hotel. Bathroom set up was odd at first (down a spiral staircase, and somewhat short ceiling), but I adapted quickly. No AC—good fan in the room though. Location is perfect for exploring Jordaan and it’s a nice walk to museums, Nine Streets, etc. Being canal-side is the best! "

"Overall, would highly recommend this hotel. It was in a great location with easy access to tourist attractions. Able to get to hotel easily using the tram and a short walk from Amsterdam Centraal station. Room was bigger than expected - we had a triple room. Stairs were very steep and narrow, however we were easily able to bring our ~45 pound suitcases up the stairs. The room was clean and had a beautiful view of the canal. The staff was very kind and helpful!"

"We really appreciated the location. It was relatively quiet in a neighborhood setting, yet walkable to the Leidseplein and other restaurants and sights. The Hotel De Looier is also walkable to Vondelpark, a relatively large park, great for walking or running, or just enjoying a little bit of nature in the city of Amsterdam."
