The staff were friendly and always escorted us to and from our lodge after dark in case of elephants (which we did encounter on the track to the lodge on one eve). The lodge was very large with Verandah and bathroom as well as 3 bedded bedroom. You can hear music at night from across the Nile so ear plugs would be recommended for light sleepers. It is so convenient for early morning games drives and the buffet breakfast...

"I really enjoyed the hippos grazing at night. The staff also built us a bonfire the first night we were there and we were able to eat around it. The biggest problem was they said we were not expected ( even though my name was clearly on their guest list) and that they did not know we had a 6 year old with us.
