"On my first evening there to check in, I was given an entry code with instructions on how to self check in. The steps provided were exactly as explained to me on the phone. I would have prefered if someone were there to greet me but at least I had access. At the hotel I stayed at before Naad Hotel, was in Arles and the front desk personnel over there kindly allowed me to use his phone to reach Hotel Naad. He knew that I was in a quandry, and helped me. When I entered my room, it was a bit cramped and the dark colors of the room did not help. The interior lights had awkward placing so that was not that convenient. The bedside light fixtures reminded me of extendable desk lamps that engineers use. The town of Sarlat la Caneda itself is very charming and lovely, so that helped."

"The hotel is in a good location to walk into Sarlat and is very quiet. THere are several good restaurants within walking distance. Lovely pool area and serve a good simple breakfast. Very nice helpful staff"
