"This place was perfectly adequate in every way. There are; however, train tracks right behind the property. Our toddler loved watching the trains, but it wasn’t exactly quiet. Parking was super easy and there’s a nice grocery store less than a 4”5 minute walk. Convenient to get to the train!"

"Friendly staff, clean rooms, and good parking. Hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the train station where you can take the cable car up to the old city. Best if you have a car since there is free parking below the train station and you’ll need to take the cable car into the old city. Breakfast is fair and available daily. Sound travels from the hallway as well as the street below, esp if you have your window open. AC is in the room but seemed to be hard to modify and the room stayed warm....

It would have been preferable to have the eggs and bacon kept warm but this was our only negative. The fresh fruit was beautifully prepared. I have shared photos of the non gluten selection with my non gluten friends who were impressed with the choice. Truly a must stay hotel for anyone wanting to experience a “Willy Wonka” moment. Walk from station to the hotel is doable in 15 minutes but pavement is not very even and probably not suitable for nightime. The walk up to the historic centre was challenging and one we had to abandon in favour of a taxi but noted afterwards that we could have got a bus. The walk back from the centre downhill was actually not so bad. Our room on 3rd floor at the front was somewhat noisy from road traffic."
