"We had a lovely stay in Desenzano at Hotel Riviera, where Desenzano provided the perfect base for us to explore Lake Garda as we had been travelling Italy via trains. "This place is a total gem. It was a little quiet as out of season and i guess its not so touristy as some areas but if you hire a car you can do so much with this as your base.
