"My stay at Locando di San Martino was great. The place was perfectly located in the middle of Matera with beautiful views through the window and outdoor sitting areas. They offer a free shuttle to and from the parking structure if you have a car, as you cannot park or drive near the hotel because of ZTL areas. This was so convenient and organized. "Convenient location on side of Autostrada but not well signed so easy to miss turn off. Sterile atmosphere but room and bed ok. Dinner in hotel restaurant was basic. Breakfast items seemed to run out quickly and were reluctantly replaced. Biggest problem was complete lack of hot water which the hotel did not tell us about at check in."
