"Casa Baloo is a hotel in a class of its own. The location is perfect (less than 5 minutes walk tonthe beach), the rooms are beautiful and modern. But what really stands out is the staff. "Rancho Kuxtal feels like discovering an idyllic secret. It's so small and tucked away off the tourist route in Yucatan. Kasie and Victor are such welcoming hosts and we felt totally at ease. There are masses of animals - domesticated, wild and somewhere in between. Cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, ducks, iguana, birds and of course the horses. They're all so loved and well cared for.
