"This hotel was on some of the most winding mountain roads I've seen! Up in a beautiful area of the Dolomites with lots of local hiking and towns nearby. The room was very large with tons of room for all of us but doesn't include air conditioning - according to the front deks they aren't allowed to offer it due to how cold it gets in the winter. I don't really understand that as heat pumps can do both cooling and heating.... We couldn't get the heat to turn off either so had to keep the windows...

"Upon arrival, we were able to pay 15 EU to park right behind the hotel in downtown Cortina. We had an amazing stay at Hotel Aquila - our room had a wrap around balcony with beautiful views of the city and mountains, and the hotel's location is walkable to all the shops and restaurants. Our room was very clean and spacious and the curtains blocked out the morning sun. Amazing stay!"

"The breakfast selection was too limited and not replenished promptly. There was no air conditioning in the room, so it was uncomfortably hot on warm days. Dust had accumulated in various corners of the room, suggesting it hadn’t been cleaned properly. There were no slippers provided in the room. On the last evening of our stay, we received a note asking us to return the sauna towels and bathrobes from the room, even though the sauna was supposed to be open until 8 PM. This was quite inconvenient...

"Very cozy, almost bed and breakfast vibes. The views were amazing, and the staff were all very accommodating. Our room wasn’t made up in time when we were checking in so they gave us a free drink and quickly made it up for us. It is about 15 min from downtown cortina, a bit of a windy road getting up and down but quite beautiful. Overall a great two night stay"
