"Food served with tons of flies. No basic laundry service. Iron and iron board in a horrible state. Old food left in fridges and rotting on the first day I checked in. Dirty bedding. Very disappointing. Floor staff were literally scared of us asking for anything because of the state of facilities. "

"The standout from this place was the pool. Easily the best to date in Lanka. It runs directly East to West so has the sun permanently on it, making it lovely and warm. It also appears in very good nick so I would guess is relatively new. The room was pleasantly adequate with no complaints. The odd thing was there was no reception as such so to find someone, I discovered ‘hollering’ ended up being the best way. Location is definitely Marmite with peace, quite and seclusion giving it a glowing...

"Wonderful room two doors away from where Queen Elizabeth stayed. Fabulous little infinity pool and only two of us in there. Stunning view with sundowners on the terrace spoilt by terrorist monkey determined to steal something off our table. Enormous curry with enough dishes to feed at least 3 adults!"

"Super location with patio with beach view and close to dip into the ocean. Very pleasant swim with no current to see lots of fish and coral. All staff were amazing: managers, waiters and the superb cook."

"The picture is from when they build the place, today is terrible. Pool was so dirty and they don’t know how to use chemicals to get it clear.
The bathroom had mold/fungus growing, sink was blocked showerhead could almost not give any water. Plus it take 5 min to get hot water and another 5 min to get the right temperature
The water from the sink/shower almost smelled it came from a sewers
Not storage in the room at all so you live in you’re suitcase

"We enjoyed our stay at Kay Jay Palms. The rooms were spacious and very clean. A/C and fan combo kept the rooms cool in the day and night.
We had breakfast and dinners there. The portion sizes were much more than we could finish.
It is 5 min drive from Pasikuda beach which was very convenient for beach days in the morning and the ability to change before other activities in the afternoon.
Overall a great experience. "
