"If you want somewhere basic and well located in Chiangmai old town, this is the place for you. Staff were so friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a lovely area walking distance from lovely shops and places to eat and book other excursions. My only complaint would be that the room was quite basic, there was a lot of noise from other AC generators (despite the one in our room being turned off whilst we tried to sleep) and the shower was not hot. "The room was clean, quite, and very comfortable. The wifi worked great, and the rain shower was very relaxing. The breakfast had tasty choices which were all good. The coffee was brewed fresh with several options according to your preference. We liked it so much that we cancelled our upcoming stay at another hotel and rebooked those 3 nights at iThaphae."
