"Staff was very courteous and helpful This place has potential. It is a bit out of the way, but provided excellent views because of its location on a hill. We expected the hotel to respond to your WhatsApp questions about whether they are still open and functioning after the hurricane but didn’t get a response. "The pictures are deceiving. There’s no pool, spa or laundry facilities (even though the hotel profile says they have them). Bathrooms were very dirty. Holes in the walls and ceilings. Ants on the bed. No view across the lake. No handles or locks on the back door. Upstairs kitchen was loud past midnight. Workers were laughing, talking, dropping things on the floor etc, we couldn’t sleep. We had a terrible experience. Can you please give my money back?"

"I had a wonderful stay here. The location is excellent—just a short walk to Queen’s Hotel, Kandy Bake House, and the beautiful Kandy Lake. The room was spacious with an exceptionally large and comfortable bed and a lovely view. Most importantly, Dilrukshi was outstanding-kind, compassionate, and truly made my stay memorable. The staff were very helpful as well. Great value for the price. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others."
