"The pillows was very hard to use. Bathroom does not have a light. Blanket not comfortable to use, it was those heavy blaket. We were given a plastic teaspoon to use. They ask us how much did we paid before they gave us a room. But they welcomed us. They were so friendly. "

"Heerlijke en vooral rustige ligging in een chaletpark aan de Olifanstrivier. Vanuit de tuin kun je nijlpaarden, vervetmonkeys, nyala´s en nog veel meer andere dieren zien lopen. Ook veel vogels aan de rivierkant. Vriendelijke hulp. Het enige jammere is dat wij 300 ZAR per wasbeurt een beetje aan de dure kant vonden. Gelukkig zijn daar andere alternatieven voor. "The only reason I'm giving this place 4* is because the road leading down is gravel and not bery well maintained. The cabin itself is a paradise! The pond is beautiful, the ducks friendly, and the fast moving creek sounds lull you to sleep. I was very pleasantly surprised at how stocked the kitchen was with cooking supplies. The staff was friendly and the whole property is well maintained. "

"It is a very friendly environment but not worth what I paid. The triple room is like an old granny house, the linen not even the right sizes for the beds, towels not that clean, no bathfoams etc sachet, wardrobe has only 4 hangers, no drinking water supplied, no glasses. Just cups, tea/coffee sachet supplied with very cheap plastic spoons. It was too cold and the aircon was disfuctioning, No enough plugs for cellphone chargers and other electronics. I had to go buy two pin plugs to able to...

"Isilimela is an Amazing place. The place itself at Balule Parson reserve is fabulous, the surroundings are serene and the views from the lodge spectacular. The owners Maikel and Wanda, and the staff are excellent and cater to your every need and much more. After every game drive or a visit outside, you are greeted by staff at the gate wth wet towels and a drink to refresh you.
