"We only stayed one night when travelling through, but wished we would have had more time to enjoy the horse riding and ziplines. The dinner and breakfast was prepared for us by wonderful staff, and they catered for vegan, vegetarian and carnivores in our family group, including our 2-yr old grandson. We enjoyed the pool and waterslide during our brief stop, and enjoyed walking around the property with company from the very friendly (but not in your face!) dogs. The only very small thing is the wind turbines that made a small hum, but not enough to distract or keep us awake. The room was comfortable and had a small kitchen that would have worked well had we needed it. The road we took was very bumpy the last few miles, and we were glad we rented a 4-wheel truck rather than a regular car."

"Booked the lodge for 2 nights and could have stayed 10, the host and his wife were absolutely wonderful. Cute little cabin surrounded by gardens and trees, bar fridge, fan, tv, wifi, and a nice bathroom stocked with clean towels. The very slight extra cost for breakfast is recommended and very tasty. When checking in we were given a paper with a map of the area, the host circled the free hot springs and other attractions. Very friendly to chat with. The lodge sits in front of the Miravalles Volcano. This is a great gem and worth the stay."
