"1st off i had to wait 1/2 hour to get into the room, was last room in the hotel so loads of steps ect, in the room the ceilings were slated at each end of room constantly banging heads and had a skylight window which could only open so far as it stuck out and was dangerous. The beds were comfy to sleep on, toilet door slammed everytime any of us went in, had to put towel down to stop the banging,no mirror were hair dryer was and were to put straighteners in so disappointed 😞 husbands breakfast...

"The staff were very helpful and obliging; the room was comfortable and had a sea view. It also had a TV, which was not advertised on the website - an omission which should perhaps be rectified. As to breakfast, I was a bit disappointed that there was no fruit available as an option - but no objections were raised when I brought in my own supplies. Despite a fair being in operation on the green opposite, it was very quiet - EXCEPT on the Friday night when there was a function with loud music on...

"Have been before to this boutique hotel and the standard has never failed. Guy on reception was friendly and pleasant. Advised that food wasn’t available atm in the hotel but that he would telephone two down at the Seamill Hydro Hotel for dinner and gave us a voucher for breakfast at same hotel. Dinner booking was abit late for us so declined and went elsewhere. The breakfast was lovely at the Hydro. Hotel was nice and warm, room and bathroom spotless. Would return and recommend to others"

"Pet friendly is an understatement. The staff were so accommodating and went way above to make us and our dog Blue so welcome from his welcome pack to the fuss made over him it made our visit truly special. Massive thanks to Lucie, Taylor and Ray for looking after us and the old dog. Breakfast was brilliant and the I would highly recommend the Haggis, Neeps and Tatties. Probably the spiciest and best I've tasted."

"I moved to this hotel because they told me they had a working fan and a view of the sea with adequate sea breeze to cool off the room. The room was extremely warm and the fan did not work very well and I had to stay there for two nights with an extremely warm room also the the hotel is a bit rundown and the carpet in the room had stains."
