"I cannot fault the staff. They worked so hard during the busiest or times, especially at breakfast when food was running out and people were impatient to wait their turn to be seated. The staff always had a smile on their face. I do think another one or two members of staff would be helpful. Hotel was clean and very welcoming. I begrudge having to pay for parking though in an out of town venue."

"The Devon Hotel is very easy to find - located just off a roundabout (with excellent Teslas charging nearby). Perfect for travelling off to the Torbay area.Although near the road, the hotel is quiet. Lots of parking, but does get busy in the week evenings. Superb breakfast and really helpful friendly staff. Comfortable bed, lots of hot water and everything working as expected. So I was extremely satisfied with my stay and would happily rebook if I visit this area again. "

"The Passage House Hotel is in such a beautiful location. Lovely scenery and walks. Easy and quick to drive to shops. The hotel is a little tired and dated but that had no impact on our stay. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The pool was a great hit with grandchildren. We thoroughly enjoyed the Passage House Inn which is right next door. Food and drinks looking over the estuary. "The buffet breakfast was excellent: there were wide choices to suit every taste. The reception staff were exceptional: we have seldom encountered such a welcoming, considerate team. They did all they could to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. During our stay, there was extensive building work being carried out on the campus -which resulted in diversions and restricted parking spaces - but this was obviously a temporary problem. "

"I was impressed with the lady who ran the hotel that night. She checked me in, instructed me where to park my car, advised where to get dinner because they didn't provide evening meals, served my drink in the bar, laid my table for my brought in take away dinner and then cleared up and still managed to do some cleaning. She made my evening very easy and pleasant. I couldn't ask for more. "
