"Take into consideration that the access to the beach in front of the hotel is restricted. The closest approved beach (Medano) is a good three blocks walking through the sand. We read in Expedia, the hotel description they paid for transportation. After a call to the hotel the staff confirmed that information. When we arrived at the airport we were met with prepaid hotel transfers only, and no available connection to reserve. We were scared to opt for Uber since our connection was spotty so taxi was the only alternative, an expensive one at that. Be careful with the sales tactics from the airport Time shares. They will lie and assure you they are airport workers and they are there to take you to the transfer station, or any other way they can hook you to their desks. The sales tactics are extremely aggressive to the extent of lying. The staff is very affable and approachable. They were smiling all the time. Our biggest complaint will be the food quality. Our family have been to several RIU in the world and so far this resort offers the worst culinary experience. The pools are big and very clean. The beds are very comfortable. Entertainment was enjoyable and not overwhelming."

"Very clean and a great place to stay at! The property is on a steep hill so we enjoyed it because it gave us a little workout every day 😅 The staff are very friendly and helpful! All the furniture is outdated but everything worked. The kitchen is well equipped, we stayed in room 3 with direct access to the pool and jacuzzi, and a pretty nice view. Unfortunately there is no soundproofing and you can hear everything! 2 out of the 6 nights we stayed here, and the very early morning (4am) of the day we checked out, we could not sleep because of the very loud squeaking noises, wall banging and other sounds that where coming from room 6 (right above us)! Mentioning that some of the other rooms on those specific nights were vacant, and it seemed an isolated case that room number 6 entertained loud activities at a property advertised as quiet and appropriate for families, with quiet hours, further away from the night life of Los Cabos. This was unfortunate since not self inflicted lack of sleep (like going out and partying and missing hours of sleep) put us off track for next days’ activities."

"Beautiful resort. Complaints: getting around the resort is not easy - golf carts will pick you up and take you where you need to go and sometimes they are not very timely. Booked an all inclusive and almost every place had extra charges. The beach is not swimmable. I’m not trying to knit pick but small things that threw me off were - toilet wasn’t straight, outlets were few and far between, screen doors were not in the guides. Now. It was a wonderful time for my wife and I. The views were stunning (especially at sunset). The staff were wonderful and everyone was super helpful. The night life was decent but it seemed like there was only one place at the resort to go to. If someone were to ask me where to go in Cabo, I would tell the Riu Palace. I wouldn’t tell someone to not go to Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach, but I would encourage you to weigh your options."

"Muy buen recibimiento, incluso antes de mi hora de check in, agradecida de la anfitriona que me recibió, muy amorosa. Al recibir la suite (de la cual no hay fotos en la app) estuve muy conforme, pero al hacer uso de ella evidencié que el aseo era deficiente. Ducha con pelos y basuritas en el suelo, y durante 2 noches tuve cucarachas. Además faltaban percheros para colgar toallas de ducha y de mano. Lo lamento por eso. Saludos"

"excellent breakfast every morning. a fresh fruit plate, some sort or smoothie or fruit juice and then a main. waffles, eggs, omelette, different each day. nice warm pool, clean room, much cooler in the courtyard than on the street. Ale gave recommendations and was very helpful booking rides. nice location, 10-15min walk to marina"
