Our attic room was quite small and slightly dated in comparison to our other family members rooms who were on the first floor, despite all booking the same level of room. "Excellent hotel for exploring Bruges. Everything was great for us - 2 adults & 2 children. Had a queen suite with bunk beds. Bunk beds up some stairs with a closing door & kids loved them. Staff were very helpful. 10 min walk to main market square. Lots of shopping & bites to eat within 5 min walk. Parkin super easy - under the hotel with chargers. Brollies to hire! It was very rainy! Didn’t see outside pool or playground as not the weather."

"I really enjoyed our stay in this characterful hotel which was very well located in the city of Bruges. You’ll need to pre book parking, and it is a few minutes walk away from the hotel. Staff and service were very good and attentive. Our room was in a building across from the main hotel and was a great size, the bathroom was huge!! My only disappointments were a) very thin and small towels b) large, unsightly and noisy fridge in the bedroom which we had to unplug at night and c) no USB sockets for charging phones/tablets. The bar room is beautiful for a drink before heading out for dinner. Breakfast is excellent, what a fantastic choice! We travelled with our dog, and felt very welcome with him. For breakfast, we had a table set up in the bar room which opens up into the breakfast room so we felt like we had our own private dining room!! It’s a great place to stay - if the room ‘niggles’ were sorted I’d give it 5*."

"Parking in front of hotel using meter, we were surprised no fees from 8pm to 7AM, clerk recommended off site parking for 10 EU but attendance said 10 for today & 10 EU for tomorrow cash only!! So we left, seems dishonest since we parked from 6pm to 7AM & he charged 2 days, ripped off !! Beach was beautiful, soft sands & dinner at local eatery very cheap for France, some restaurants demanded cash only!! Must try to avoid taxes!!"
