"Excellent service at Protea Hotel OR Tambo! A special thank you to Katlego, who was incredibly friendly, welcoming, professional, efficient, and helpful. She made our check-in quick, smooth, and completely stress-free. Her warm attitude and outstanding customer service made us feel valued from the moment we arrived. "After completing a 16-hour journey, I arrived at the hotel at approximately 8:30 PM last night. Following my check-in and a shower, I visited the bar and ordered dinner to be delivered to my room.
The meal arrived over one hour later. Shortly after the server left to retrieve the card machine for payment, I sat down to eat and immediately noticed that the food was completely cold. I contacted room service to report the issue and was informed that the Room Service Manager would call me back....

"This property is well secured and they make you aware of how security is a priority. The shuttle was great, the staff was helpful. Lizwe, a staff member of the restaurant, was very helpful in informing us a good time to go for dinner & breakfast. She provided great service, also. "Its a large hotel and fairly new.
The shower doesn't not work properly, the water temperature keeps changing from hot to cold and the shower area is too small plus the soap tray is fitted in the wrong place and you keep bumping your knee. The bathroom door came in for my friends room and the water doesn't drain properly"
