"The house has a heated pool, which allowed us to swim and sunbathe! Although the house also has air conditioning, nothing beats lighting the fireplace and spending some time chatting! Excellent architecture and decoration. Perfect location, in the countryside near the wonderful beaches. The hosts were very friendly and dedicated. "A beautiful, unique and rare accommodation. This manor house has been in the same family for several hundred years and this same family still host and staff the house. "Spectacular views. Indescribably peaceful and grounding; like no other place i have ever experienced, and effortlessly so. Gorgeous pool with serene, beautiful birdsong including doves. Incredibly delicious, nourishing food made woth love and the freshest, healthiest, local, seasonal ingredients in traditional Alantejo way. Superb stay. My son and I both did not want to leave! We will be back!"

"My stay here was the perfect finale to wind down from an extensive road trip of Lisbon, Nazare, Aveiro and Porto. The grounds, lobby and room exceeded my expectations. Staff was friendly and welcoming. My room, all on 1st floor, was sparkling clean with a view of olive trees. Mini fridge partially stocked with plenty of extra room. Air conditioned as well. Nespresso coffee maker available by request. On site restaurant and bar well appointed with excellent cuisine. I enjoyed a massage at the on property spa. Play area for kid's including kids swimming pool. Indoor and outdoor pool for adults. Stable of horses available to ride. Free winery tour with tastings was my favorite. Of course i purchased a case of their wine. Walking trails also. Set amongst green rolling hills. Come and enjoy."
