"My partner and I have just come back from an absolutely wonderful weekend at the Muckrach Hotel. It was to celebrate my partner's 60th birthday, and what a fabulous time we had. The hotel is up there with one of the best. There's such a relaxing, peaceful ambience about the place, everything is of the highest quality and standard. "The Farmhouse is a lovely building that accommodated us perfectly - 5 adults, 3 kids. It could have accommodated a few more adults if couples were attending. It is let down by some of the furnishings which is a real shame, a little bit of re-investment is all that would be needed. A couple of the chairs have rips in the arms and seats which isn't what you would expect. All facilities are there for you in the kitchen, towels and dressing gowns are provided.
