"We had a very positive experience at the Welcome Hotel. It is in a perfect location, just take an elevator across the street to get to the beautiful Old Town area. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff, especially Kristen Thiele, were all friendly and helpful. Kristen went out of her way to help us with the train scheduling. The included breakfast was wonderful. Our only complaint was that the shower was very small. Overall, a great hotel and we would definitely stay there again."

"This property is perfectly situated in the Luhn Valley. It’s a beautiful hotel with a scenery surrounding the hotel that words cannot describe how beautiful it is. Breakfast is wonderful and proximity to Marburg is a short drive away. Staff is wonderful and Self check-in/out makes the stay extremely easy."

"The check in was terrible. The absolute definition of not to be customer oriented right from the get go. The person at the reception was rude and was very argumentative about the check in time after I proofed her wrong and she diverted to impose to sign the reservation……horrible bad! The next surprise was that we had to get our luggage back in to the car and had to drive to an offsite location/biopsy not as advertised. We had to go 2 floors up to enter the two rooms we booked. Mein Zimmer war groß und gemütlich und der junge Mann an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich. Was ärgerlich war: Am Tag des Checkouts wurde mein Zimmer bereits vor meinem Checkout gereinigt und meine restlichen Sachen an der Rezeption hinterlegt. Unangenehm… "

"We were unfortunate to have gotten a room above the restaurant, where until late at night a party took place. This room should not have been rented out, certainly not as a 4-star hotel room. All the lady at reception could offer was the remark that they could of course not leave the hotel empty when a party takes place. Also a minibar was missing in the room. The room was simply not worth the money and this was a once but never again experience. The two other nights and most of the other staff...

"Well this hotel had a solution. A good swimming pool, jaccuzzi , steam bath , sauna and an indoor games room. My daughter of 6 years of age forgot completely about the terrible weather outside. Only one small criticism was there was no internet service in the room ( only available in the lobby area ) ."
