Das Hotel ist ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen in familiärer Atmosphäre. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten bei schönem Wetter jeden Tag wandern, gemütlich einkehren und wieder angekommen im Hotel die ausgezeichneten Wellness Angebote genießen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Super ruhig gelegenes Hotel, mit zuvorkommenden Personal und tollem Wellnessbereich. Ich habe mich von Anfang an wohl gefühlt, also jederzeit wieder.

mooie hotel, ondanks enkele minpunten

We hebben een fijne, ontspannen vakantie gehad, met dit hotel als ideale vertrekpunt voor meerdere mooie wandelingen in de omgeving. De ontvangst was goed, en het personeel heel vriendelijk. Onze kamer was zeer ruim opgezet, met een aparte zitgedeelte en prachtige uitzichten over de bergen, maar voldeed niet op alle punten: zo deed de wifi het niet, geen enkele keer (bij de receptie herkenden ze het probleem en boden ze vriendelijk excuses aan, wat een viersterrenhotel anno 2018 eigenlijk niet waardig is), waren de hoofdkussens zo slap dat we moeite hadden met slapen, en was er geen waterkoker / thee op de kamer - terwijl dat juist is wat je graag wilt als je uitgeput terug komt van een wandeling. Ook het eten in het restaurant was van zeer wisselende kwaliteit: de eerste avond niet te verteren, de andere avonden beter (met name het buffet in het weekend). Kortom, we twijfelen wel een beetje of we ooit hier terug zouden komen.

God vinterferie

Venlig betjening og meget fleksible. Ligger i et dejligt naturskøn område med 10 minutters kørsel til Winterberg skiområdet. Dog kun hvis man er i bil. Med bus er det lidt besværligt at komme til Winterberg

In die Jahre gekommen, aber stört nicht. Teilweise saniert. Freundlich. Kinderfreundlich. Kleine, aber feine Wellnessangebote. Super Umgebung, wenn man die Natur liebt. Wanderspaß ohne Ende! Auch kleinere Spaziergänge super! Ca. 20km bis zur nächsten größeren Einkaufsmöglichkeit...

Einsam und ruhiges Hotel mit Renovierungsbedarf

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr einsam und deshalb für Naturliebhaber fantastisch. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war nicht mehr modern aber sauber und großzügig. Eine totale Enttäuschung war der Wellnessbereich. Die Mini-Sauna stammt vermutlich noch aus der Gründerzeit und wurde seit dem nicht mehr überholt oder renoviert. Ein absolutes No-go für ein 4 Sterne Hotel in dieser Preisklasse. Unsere Beschwerde hierüber hat man an der Rezeption "zur Kenntnis" genommen. Das Abendessen (extra Kosten) war hervorragend. Das Frühstücksbuffet war durchschnittlich und entsprach nicht dem Preis eines 4 Sterne Hotels. Für den Preis von 148,- Euro (Doppelzimmer mit Frühstück für 2 Personen) würden wir das Hotel nicht wieder buchen oder weiterempfehlen.

Landschaftlich reizvolle Umgebung

Das Hotel liegt einsam auf einem Berg und bietet jeden Komfort. Von dort aus kann man das Auto stehen lassen und viele gut gekennzeichnete Wanderungen unternehmen.

Entgegen anderen Bwertunhgen war das Zimmer (Panoramic Studio) sowohl von der Ausstattung als auch von der Sauberkeit voll in Ordnung. Nur die Matratzen waren etwas zu hart. Was zu bemängeln ist, ist die Tatsache das es WLAN nur in Teilen des Hotels gibt, da viele Zimmer außerhalb der Reichweite liegen.Repeater waren nicht vorhanden oder defekt.

Licht und Schatten

Wir, Eltern mit 2 halbwüchsigen Kindern, hatten nur für 1 Nacht 2 Standard- Doppelzimmer am Wochende gebucht. Das Hotel war nur wenig belegt, allerdings mit überwiegend niederländischen Besuchern. Unsere Zimmer lagen in der 2. Etage (Dachschräge) im Stammhaus und waren geprägt vom Charme der 60-iger Jahre mit muffigem Geruch, welligem Teppichboden, antikem Mobiliar, aber modernisierten Bädern, die leider, wie auch die Heizungen, nicht voll funktionstüchtig waren. Sonntag morgens gab es weder Heizungswärme noch warmes Wasser zum Duschen. Das Zimmertelefon war dann auch nicht funktionsfähig, sodass wir über Handy die Rezeption verständigten, die uns auch prompt einen !!!! Zimmerschlüssel für das Haus Rothaarblick vorbeibrachten, damit wir 4 Personen dort duschen konnten. Zwischen unseren Zimmern im Stammhaus und dem im Rothaarblick lagen nicht nur Jahre, sondern eher Jahrzehnte, was Sauberkeit, Größe, Ausstattung etc. angeht. Abends in der Gaststube wurden unsere Sonderwünsche mit ausgzeichnetem und reichhaltigem Essen sowie hervorragendem Service bedacht.

Da wir zum Skifahren dort waren, war das Hotel sehr abgelegen. Die Zimmer waren schon abgewohnt, Bad war teilweise renoviert. Die Zimmer wurden nur oberflächlich gereinigt. So war der von mir getöteter Ohrenkneifer auch noch nach 2 Tagen da. Das Personal war weinig höflich bis unhöflich. Kein 4* Nivau.
